PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 166 §22, you are hereby notified that the Upton Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on a petition from Massachusetts Electric Company, doing business as NATIONAL GRID, and Verizon New England, Inc. The petition requests permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way:
Westboro Road – Install one JO Pole on Westboro Road, beginning at a point approximately 17 feet east of the centerline of the intersection of Westboro Road. National Grid will install one 40-foot C3 pole, anchor, and guy wire at Pole 44-50 Westboro Road. The location is approximately as shown on the attached plan titled “Petition for Joint or Identical Pole Locations” and numbered #30853842.
The public hearing will take place at 8:30 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Upton Town Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Room, One Main Street.
