Firearms Licensing
Firearms application and renewel appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm by appointment.
Apply for a First Time Massachusetts Firearms License
- Complete a Massachusetts State Police approved Firearms Safety class.
- Complete a MA resident firearms application (https://www.mass.gov/doc/firearms-identification-fid-card-or-license-to-carry-firearms-ltc-application/download)
- Mail your completed application, safety certificate and check made payable to the Town of Upton for $100.00 to the Upton Police Department, 30 School Street, Upton, MA 01568 , Attn: Paula Deiana
- After your completed application packet is received, you will be contacted for an appointment for review of you application, fingerprints and photographs.
