Sweetwilliam Farm (2011)
Led by Open Space Committee and Sudburry Valley Trustees, the town preserved Sweetwilliam Farm on North Street.
2011 Upton Open Space Plan (2011)
The Committee completed an update of the Town's Open Space and Recreation Plan. The plan describes the town's natural resources, provides an inventory of open space and recreational facilities, sets goals, and provides an action plan for the next 7 years.
Upton Open Space Bylaw (2007)
The Committee drafted a revised open space bylaw which was approved at the Town Meeting in November of 2007.
Dodson Open Space Study (2007)
The Committee directed an inventory of Upton Open Space and resources conducted by Dodson Associates. The study was funded by the Community Preservation Act.
Upton Master Plan (2005)
The Committee assisted the Master Plan Committee by drafting the plan's Open Space chapter and Open Space map.
Community Preservation Act (2004)
Members of the Open Space Committee and Conservation Commission helped lead efforts to adopt the CPA in Upton.
Stefans Farm (2001)
The Committee led the successful effort to preserve Stefans Farm.
Upton Open Space Bylaw (2000)
The Committee drafted Upton's first open space bylaw which was approved at Town Meeting in 2000.
Upton Open Space Plan Updates (2000 & 2003)
The Committee drafted updates to the Town's Open Space and Recreation Plan in 2000 and 2003.
Warren Brook Watershed Conservation Area (1995)
The Committee led the successful effort to preserve the area.
