Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is made up of both elected and appointed members that are responsible for submitting a budget at the annual town meeting as well as consider any or all municipal questions for the purposes of making reports or recommendations to the town.

Green Designation Committee
The Green Communities Act of 2008 established the Green Communities Program. Under the act, communities that meet the five criteria qualify as Green Communities and are eligible for technical and financial assistance, which can be used to finance the costs of “studying, designing, constructing and implementing energy efficiency activities.”

The mission of the Upton Historical Commission is to protect and preserve the community’s historical assets for the education, enjoyment, and benefit of current and future generations.

Housing Production Plan Steering Committee
The purpose of the committee is to create a Housing Production Plan (HPP), which will serve as Upton’s proactive strategy for the planning and development of affordable housing and present the Plan to the Planning Board and for submission to the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in compliance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40B.

Registrar of Voters
